There is this as well, and very valid. Speculation is fun!![]()
Yhan, the White Viper.

Hmm.. It's surely possible.
...but that hair...those eyes...the fact that she's hiding her forehead...aaand the fact that every other pure-blood Garlean is also an Elezen with a Highlander-esque head ('cept for Cid, they just stretched his face out a bit).
It can't all be coincidence ...can it?
She is not a garlean, where did you got that idea? The fact that she has a white hear and that she uses like a crown on the exact place where is supposed to be a "third eye" is pure coincidence buddy, Remember that the even said that Ishgard is no friend of GarlemandHmm.. It's surely possible.

Umm.. I take it you're a little late. Our speculation was confirmed with THIS. You can clearly see she possesses the pure-blood Garlean third eye.

Or Garlean... Wouldn't be the first Garlean to leave the empire.

But a Garlean rising to second-in-command of the Temple Knights? Given all the alarm over the discovery of a Garlean spy within a Grand Company, it takes a stretch to imagine that any city-state would risk national security by placing a known Garlean in such a position of power. That's even before we consider how little Ishgard trusts outsiders, let alone a known enemy like the Garleans. No country in real-life would take such a risk, political correctness be damned.
And Ishgard, from what we know, rarely cares about looking good for the masses.
It may be possible, and it would make a fantastic story. But given the circumstances, I find it highly implausible.

U must've forgotten bout how STUPID Ishgardians are and that they can be so easily FOOLED right under their noses with that imposter inqusitor. And we're talking about Ishgard's frontline field top officers who got TROLLED. Add to the bitter competing rivalry between Ishgard's noble houses and terribad secretive communication, its gonna be a piece of cake for a Garlean spy to infiltrate em!But a Garlean rising to second-in-command of the Temple Knights? Well that's if they know she's a garlean. There is definitely more to her story especially because she has some relation to the PC.But a Garlean rising to second-in-command of the Temple Knights? A lot of fans have speculated that Livia is Elezen, actually. She has the slender figure of one, with fairly long arms.

Aymeric is no fool. He knows Lucia is Garlean, he has to, and he accepts and trusts her anyway. That's the story we'll see unfold. In a position such as Aymeric's, he's able to promote whom he deems worthy, to select his own right-hand. I really doubt the Holy See spends much time micro-managing, they trust the Commander of their Temple Knights, I'm sure.
While her being a spy is plausible, my bet is that she's truly loyal and that it'll be a minor plot point on how she deserted her homeland.
