Wood Wailer's Jacket (Can I Have It?)

It was a unique/untradeable that the player crafts during the r20 Leatherworking quest. Unfortunately, you have to give it up to finish the quest.

I think we should have our own just for the heck of it. After all, we get to keep the Star Spangled Subligar. :P

That was a neat looking piece of armor. Why'd they give it stats and such if we don't get one to keep?

Otherwise, I'll take it that Eorzeans hate taking used underwear and they'd rather not ask for you to hand it over.

Woodwailer Jacket should be a reward from r20 LNC quest. You receiving it for becoming "roockie LNC" would be very nice.

However, compare this jacket to the woolen suggarloaf hat that you obtain at woodwork quest...no crappy armor can be compared to my shiny subligar!! It was made by gods specially to fit my miqo'te's awesomeness!!! <3 <3 <3

There's a trick to keep it. Craft it the first time and give it to your retainer, then go back to the NPC to get materials to make another one. Complete the quest and the first jacket should still be on your retainer. You can pull it out and wear it anytime after that.

Nope. Mine's sitting in my retainer at the moment. Will be putting it to use again when I level LNC. :P
