it wasnt there in earlier patches but if its there it will be a meanwhile fix
until they fully fix it
its annoying that i wont be doing for shiva ex because of this silly issue
Those settings should also help the PS3 perform better in larger fights as well.
Like 8mans, CT, ST, Fates, and Hunts.
you might want to test setting party effects to limited as well.
Hopefully this gets fixed so more PS3 users can handle S Ex.
i have all setting to none to make fights as smooth as possible except own effects
but im interested if they added enemies effects
this will be enough to kill the problem meanwhile
as the game crash at icicle blades AOE and only in in EX ver
I can also confirm this happens.
I'm on PS4 but the 1st time I tried Shiva EX today, we had 3 people disconnecting 3 times at the exact same spot.
They all reported that the game crashed and that they were on PS3.
2 guys left and one guy said he managed to get a " fix " for this.
He said he went 1st person view (R3 when not targetting anything iirc) and looked to the outside of the arena, so no crazy ice crystal AoE would need to be rendered.
He didn't crash.
It's like a Petrification from t7 except you dont get stoned or die. You DC.
You will disconnect if you dont look away AND enter 1st person view.
Talk about extreme...

Haven't gotten that far yet myself, but at least I know how to prepare in case my Old Man PC can't handle the excitement. x')
