After 8 months of being away...

I came back to Mysidia to check out how the game had evolved. When I returned, I found a sad, sad world. Long ago, the world was filled with people; everywhere I turned there were people to greet and interact with. Now, I see an empty shell of what used to be Mysidia.

Is it like this in all the other worlds?

I see people all the time on Mysidia, actually our population has risen in the last few months.

same, if you are unhappy with Mysidias pop (supposedly most populated server) then I dont htink you will be happy with any servers pop.

I don't know when you began playing, but the population is nothing like it was before I went on my hiatus. The entire world was filled with Mysidians in every city, in every room.

There were maybe around 30-50 people around the common forge repair NPC in every city, and I SOMETIMES see one or two people in Gridania or Limsa now around those same npcs. The area in front of the Gridania inn had around 30 people selling items, and Limsa's fountain had around the same amount of players sitting around selling items as well. Now there is no one there at all.

What I have noticed on Rabnastre is that, before 1.18 the pop was dwindling fast, right after 1.18 some ppl came back to check it out, they came, saw and left like me XD!

1.18 is a nice step in the right direction but far from a saving grace update.

There is still lots missing in this game, still no classes worth playing, no search menu worthy of mention, no ah, no player housing/mail system, no dual wielding, gear/weapon variety(no Scythe,G.Swords,Katana what really? @.@), alternate forms of transportation still MIA, LS menu info absent ect ect ect.

IMO this game is about 1~ year away from being worth the time to anyone that likes to have fun in a mmo and isnt playing just because its called "final fantasy"

My advice homeboy is go on another 8~ month hiatus and maybe when you come back a few of the things i mentioned may, May be ingame.

Also dont let the zombie cult that considerer this still lacking game a religion get to you.

It has potential but its FAR from reaching its goal, IF I'm correct in thinking that SE's goal is to make this game fun =/

The good thing for SE at least is that it seems every note worthy MMORPG that could challenge it is FAR from release Blade&Soul, Tera online, GW2 ect all seem scared to pull the trigger, so this bland installment of FF is all thats out there atm.

Good for SE XD, they can thumb wrestle some more, but bad for any fan waiting for a MMORPG experience worth speaking of more then once. =/

I think comparing the pop now to release is a bit unfair, this game did bomb remember. Though even with that said Mysidia is still one of the most populated servers and is one of the few that shows as a 3 chocobo server.

PS: people stopped gathering at the repair NPC when craft buffs started lasting for 1 hour, and with 1.18 people finally started hanging out in other cities and not just Uldah.

there are allot of people on, they just arnt all standing in uldah anymore. Half of the population is standing outside dungeon entrance, lol.

yea, ive been in LL the past 3 days getting marks and ive noticed a good amount of players there as well. Not the ghost town it was pre1.18.
