    Patch 2.4 refusing to patch to the SDXC I play from

    My younger brother plays FFXIV from an SDXC card in his laptop but for some reason, the patch refuses to save to anything but the main hard drive. The main hard drive is full atm. If worst comes to worst, can I just delete stuff and transfer the patch data over to the SDXC? If so, where do I even put the patch data?

    The launcher has no concept of sdxc vs hdd. As long as it is run from a compatible file system it will apply to the files in their installed location.

    However, the downloaded patch data is placed in a folder in %userdata%\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\downloads prior to application, which is why you might be having a problem.
