Shiva Primal theme is amazing!

I thought I was gonna hate the second half, but I like it shockingly. o.O It kinda seems out of place though.

Out of place? Yes but you know the Legendary Nobuo? He loves rock a lot and he does put Rock like theme into the FF games he made. So I guess it doesn't bother me all that much, but I can see why other people may not like that type of theme in a Primal fight.

The first part of the theme is simply a masterpiece! What I expect for a Primal fight such as the wonderful Shiva and her icy ways... but the second part? Just me personally... I feel it is extremely out of place. Shiva seems old, maybe even older than the other Primals (save Ramuh). Her first part of her theme for me fits thematically for Shiva as a whole

and for Lady Iceheart since she embodies Shiva.

The second theme just seems so out of place to me, Titan and Leviathan definitely fit for a "rock" type theme, and their themes were unique sounding to me. But Shiva's rock theme? It sounds like any generic anime opener honestly... but damn... that first theme <3 My new favorite song, with Shiva being my new favorite Primal... sorry my old love Garuda, but parting is such sweet sorrow...

I don't think that's what the story told us at all. Shiva wasn't even a primal until her summoning in the storyline. She was a human being that was a part of Ishgardian history, and like Moogle Mog it was shown all that was needed to create a summon was crystals and enough will power. She was technically brand new to the world if I understand the story properly. Making her the youngest primal after Good King Moogle Mog.

Here's what happened when I first fought Shiva.

Phase 1: This is so awesome! The music! The atmosphere! It's perfect!

Phase 2: Experience ruined. ABANDON DUTY.

I'm more surprised the 1st half was actually part of her theme song! I always thought that would be in FCoB since they already gave us a preview of Shiva theme in NA fanfest + live performance EU fanfest

Que Paso! First half is so well done; second part is terror. Maybe a male vocalist for the second half might improve it a bit.

I'll agree that the first part is amazing, but the second part doesn't really match the icy and serene personality that this Shiva has. I think the music -could- work, but the jrock was just the wrong format, and I actually like JRock if it fits what's going on.
