Cash Shop Overpriced?

To me the price($24) for the mount is fine after seeing this "This item will be distributed to all characters on the selected account", if you think this is over priced, in another game ive played their are asking like $35-$60 for one mount for one char....im willing to spend $24 for a mount in ff14

You would think, for $25, it would be an additional battle companion. I'm sure loads of people would be much more willing to fork over the extra cash (and retire their chocos) to have Sleipnir battle alongside them.

It'd take a bit more than 25 bucks to do that. It'd need a new system and animations etc for a non chocobo based companion.

I'm a bit confused by this statement. It technically would take "more than $25" to fix a typo in the game.

It obviously takes more than one purchase to cover the cost of development. By your logic, I'd hate to see what the cost of the expansion is going to be. :P

The $5 minions seem very reasonable (I bought two ). In any case it's very much in line with what I'm used to paying for costumes, gun skins, etc. in console games.

$24 for the mount seems crazy to me though. That just seems like so much for one piece of cosmetic DLC. I'm told it's in line with prices in other MMOs. And hey, if it's worth the cost to someone else, more power to them. I can't imagine paying it though.

Just wanted to point out that I gave you a little thumbs up for the underlined sentence. While I personally think it's worth the money, I really like that you see it as a subjective opinion and you don't criticize or belittle us for it. c:
