So you have till Odin comes out as a primal for this, but I would highly like to see the ability to wield your sword while mounted on Odin as a /changepose.

It seems very odd to me crossing my arms over one another as I stay mounted on a horse, especially when Odin rides it with his sword out.

Personally I hate the pose and I think it looks rather foolish and awkward as heck having their arms folded. The females look far more natural when they're on the mount and I'd rather opt for that pose if we could be given a choice.
I seriously doubt s/e has plans or will even consider changing it in the future. I'm just putting my opinion in here that I don't like the male idle stance on the mount and something as silly as a "crossed arms" pose can and will factor in on peoples decision if they want to drop money on that mount. ( All complaining aside. the riding animation looks great though, go figure?)

I have to agree with the comments here. The rider sitting with his arms crossed while the mount is stationary, walking, and (especially) jumping looks ridiculous and just plain unappealing. I completely regret purchasing this mount and I'm doubting I'll ever use it because of this setup. Why would the characters ride a horse this way? I really hope Square Enix will address this somehow.

Maybe in the future they can make that kind of pose the idle pose for a mount, and have a riding pose for when you're actually moving around.
