What are you spending your Poetics on first?

The chest first since it's basically a drop in replacement for the Noct one and won't require a sacrifice of any DPS stats on my gear. Since it's a T13 drop too.

From there I don't know. Sort of depends on progress, I guess. The boots are nice but a t10 drop.

Dragoon. Gotta get ready for 3.0.

Yup. All Warriors will become Dragoons. Gotta hit the ground at i120 at least!

I melded a Wootz body with 24 det to hold me over until DW or i130 poetics.

Went with shield first since I'll get carboncoat this week.

For WAR - assuming BiS for 2.2, 4.5 DET = 1 STR, and 5.6 Crit = 1 STR:

Boots = 1.9 STR
Pants = 1.6 STR
Belt = 3.2 STR (HA) / 3.5 (Noct)
Hands = 1.4 STR (HA)
Body = 0.8 STR
Head = 0.6 STR

Wootz makes this a lot more complicated, but it's entirely dependent on your melds. My stat weights also may be incorrect, this is just based on what I've heard for WAR specifically (I also rounded up since a lot of these numbers were repeating or non repeating for ages). Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!

When buying new gear for the PLD I always go for the weapon 1st.

I will prolly go like this: Weapon -> Shield -> Chest -> Ring

If you are clearing T11 Weapon is best. But PLDs get the 5th or 6th weapon, so you have a few weeks of extra Poetics.

Picked up the head piece first, as I'm probably not clearing T12 anytime in the near future (Or at least this week). I upgrade based on the following criteria -

-How likely is it that I will reach the turn where the alternative Coil piece drops -this week- (If unlikely, that piece gets priority)
-Is the poetics piece BiS (If it is, pick it up unless the alternative Coil piece is at least possible)
-How substantial is the upgrade (Alternatively, do I need more accuracy)
-Is there any chance of getting a weapon upgrade in the near future (Weapon takes precedence)

Most tomes or left/right side upgrade items go to DPS with priority, so keep that in mind when choosing your poetics pieces. I'd rather spend poetics on an i120->i130 BiS in the long term than a i120->i130 non-BiS that might become irrelevant via Coil drop before I even get the upgrade item for it.

So got the shield last week and am impressed, I think I have stated that already. This week, hopefully tonight or tomorrow if I can stand the Snowcloak farm I should have my Helm. Then the two week grind for body.

Got the healer body and I have to say I love the look. The colours, the style and the way it sits, after the gravity defying scylla robe this is a huge improvement. Shame you can't dye it like sol, can I dye it in a future patch plz SE :c?

Ill either go for the head, feet or ring next since Im sitting with an ilvl100 ring because of the stupid unique thing. But the head and boots look great, decisions decisions...
