"The drop rate for Atma crystals required for the quest "Trials of the Braves" has been increased."
Was the real drop rate % ever confirmed? The wording is so vague, "increased" can mean + .01% ...
I'm pretty sure people have deduced the drop rates to be roughly 2-3%, and Yoshi-P said at LV FanFest that drop rates are going to be more than doubled...maybe somewhere between 5-7.5% now?
If it helps, Yoshi said on the Live stream that Atma drop rates were increased by 5x. so if it was 2% before, its 10% now.
It probably won't stop Atma from being a mindlessly boring grind, so I doubt it will entice people who don't currently have an atma, but have a soldiery weapon instead, to 'upgrade' on the horrendous zodiac quest route.
One thing that bothers me is in reading the Rogue skills. Did anyone else notice that their iconic attack Sneak Attack is an incredibly potent skill, doing 500 potency damage? Yet comes with the ridiculous caveat of being utterly useless? It can't be executed in combat as it relies on Hide, so it's no use in boss fights or dungeons. Trick attack shares the same problem, and there's no traits which make it possible to use Hide in combat as it states below "The above ability descriptions are representative of a level 50 character and include enhancements from available traits."
Kind of a downer, if you ask me.
NIN's Suiton self-buff is supposed to make SATA usable without the need for Hide, I heard. It probably won't stop Atma from being a mindlessly boring grind, so I doubt it will entice people who don't currently have an atma, but have a soldiery weapon instead, to 'upgrade' on the horrendous zodiac quest route.

EDIT: Also I don't see why you can't use it as an opener in dungeons and boss fights. It shouldn't be that hard to active Hide before a trash pull, or before your tank pulls the boss.

Because, generally speaking, OPENING a fight with a massive attack is the dumbest most retarded thing a DPS can do. Guaranteed to annoy every tank in the history of tanking ever.
