    Gives increased drops from mob if mug was the move to kill it.

    I seriously hope this is just a joke...

    Many question about all this, first of all, what all this mean exactly, is SE planning to bring back the old fashion super grind end-game were you have only 1% chance to get your item, but hey, if you add ninja in your group, you have 5% chance?

    I see multi flaw in the idea.

    Let say Ninja is a major FAIL dps, but in revenge it give Treasure chance boost, then i guess the balance is established. (But seriously... who in they mind wish to play a weak job? It was a terrible idea in FF11)

    Now let say Ninja is a normal DPS as any other class, then why play other class that have no Treasure boost? (New PT setup be 1 healer, 6 ninja, 1 tank?)

    I can already see the drama: DPS TURN!!! let the ninja kill! Because that drama did not happen enough with the spinny plume in Garuda EX lol. Gosh.

    Idk, i am sceptical about all this.

    If the job is weak DPS but strong in healing or support to make up for it, how is that a terrible idea? MMOs should be more than just DPS DPS DPS. The fact that there are no dedicated support/buffer/debuffer classes in this game and that healers are practically EXPECTED to contribute to the overall group DPS hurts the game, actually.

    lol there is nothing in the open world of value and 2nd all the best stuff drops from a treasure chest in dungeons so its pointless

    Its been said that the new raids (2.4?) chest will not have 100% drop if people in your group already cleared the turn. I don't have the details but if this is true it sounds like a possible Mug application.. possibly.

    It's not that they won't have a 100% drop rate, it's that they will have a 0% drop rate if you are just doing the same turn over and over for loot (only in regards to the highest tier of endgame-ocity, not the other parts). It's SE trying to give us what we have been asking for by letting us help friends in coil with removal of once a week limit on raids. I'm fairly certain the idea was that you can only have x (lets say 2) amount of people who have cleared the run in your group or you get no drops, but since the implementation is still a ways off, lets hold back the taking things to the extreme by making up rumors about how things will work. MUG will more then likely only work when farming drops in open world, please look forward to it.

    I highly doubt that by killing the final mob with that move will make the chest have a higher drop rate. The mob and chest are 2 different things.

    The myth in FF11 about THF opening a chest lasted a few year, and SE was happy of not leak any information about it =D

    Just to remind memory, in king ranperre's tomb, if you open the chest as any class, you had a chance to get get gil, Battle Gloves, or gem, but if you open it as THF, it was almost 100% chance for Battle Gloves. But it was the only exception in the game too.

    BCNM/KCNM chest was ignoring who open it.

    Anyway, i doubt they going to make chest affected by ninja. My worry is about those item to upgrade new weapon, let say i120 one. I have no problem with pony chance increase, after all is only a mount, it wont help you to beat any content.

    I 100% agree with you on that, BRD was suppose to be a support class, but the game did not unfold that way. I am not the one that designed T8 and T9, where the DPS is priority #1. Hopefully you are right, and new content be more strategic and less DPS check.

    The fights require both strategy and dps. You won't clear if one is lacking.
