No idea if there is a "big prize". From what I can find XV ventures have chances at high end crafting materials (e.g Dodore Wing, Mossy Horn) as well as items from unspoiled nodes (e.g Ferberite, Native Gold), and some of the old soldiery mats (e.g. Tawny Latex, Saurian Skin)

Fat Cat only from XIV Venture or can you do XV for perhaps a higher chance?

I got fat cat from fishing XV.

Ooooh! 2015 is the Year of the Ram/Sheep I wonder if we will finally get the Tender Lamb minion!

And I am guessing we will get the heavy hatchling at the same time as whatever event (or Veteran Bonus) gives us this item;
