What you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things anyone has ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent statement were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber for reading it.

Why don't you actually play WoW(and not the free version to lv 20 either) before spouting out the wrong information and sticking your foot in mouth.

As much as I hate to back the OP... the statement in this case is actually true (besides flying mounts not being a good idea for FFXIV). Blizzard themselves have stated the reason they are NOT allowing flight in the Warlords content is because it has allowed people to skip through the content faster than intended. An example they used in their own statement was when a quest asks you to kill a captain at the centre of a fort- the assumption is you fight your way through, to reach that final showdown at the end.
The reality? Mount up, fly in, kill, fly out, done.

What was it you said? "spouting out the wrong information and sticking your foot in your mouth"? Might be time to remove your foot from your mouth- it's ankle deep.

I would love to quote myself again for you but, WTF do you get off from talking about WoD (the content isn't even freaking released yet). From all of the prior expansion including BC/WoTLK/CATA/MoP you didn't get flying access until much later after you have been through the main story content or near max level or had to purchase a liscense. At no point did it allow you to actually skip over all the content. Having flying mounts here will be the same, it will not allow you to skip content.

As for what you've just said? I was very recently levelling multiple classes in WoW. BC, WotLK and Cata content was breezed through with ease due to flying straight over 95% of mobs. I got bored at about the Pandaland content- admittedly i couldn't fly there yet as you need 90 for that.

....Nope. Was there day one of Cata, picked up my Flight Masters Licence to fly in Azeroth. Skipped mass mobs to breeze to 85.

We're not saying it lets you skip content entirely- just skip through it a lot faster than is intended.

I'm all for more transportation options. There's nothing stopping anyone who wants to stop and smell the roses from doing so to their heart's desires. By all means, take that leisurely stroll down loser's lane as fast as your* stubby taru legs can take you*. But if you* can only enjoy it if everyone else is slogging along with you* then maybe you* don't quite enjoy the simple life as much as you* think you* do.

More mounts, and no arbitrary restrictions or excessive time sink gates either! That's not fun. I had strings, but now I'm free. There are no strings on me.

i dont know why people want restrictions the hole thing about final fantasy is the feel of a open free world i still rememeber the 1st final fantasy i every played getting in that air ship flying all around the world map just made my heart swore with freedomness its amazing no strings to hold me in place

I never said it was in the first article I quoted. I only said "They have even said there may never be flying".

Well you're quite the spiteful, low blow throwing individual.
Just wanted to say that if they cared that much about flying mounts helping individuals level faster they might want to take a look at the instant level 90 potion they sell. I would think they should be more concerned with that making content skip able over flying mounts.
Or is it ok for you to skip content as long as they make more money as you do so?
