Was half-expecting that to be a gag sim of some kind. But it was really interesting to practice!

*looks at it* Wow how can you expect to remember all this?
Some do damage, some increase attack speed?
This will be quite the class.

It's actually pretty easy, Raiton = single target, high damage, Katon = AoE direct damage, Hyoton = single target damage + slow, Suiton = enwater, Huton = haste and Doton = AoE DoT

It's probably just flavor to make it sound a little different. I haven't looked over the Japanese patch notes, but I wonder if they chose "mudra" to make it sound more exotic to the JP playerbase.

When I see that simulator link, I keep thinking it says "Mierda Simulator."

Just hope I can remember what makes what during battle. I have a tendency(that I'm trying to overcome) to forget, panic, and press the wrong buttons during the heat of battle sometimes so I might derp a few times. XD (this usually happens with Monk.)
Oh boy though.. why do I get the feeling we'll see a bunch of Naruto fans with this? Can feel it now someone shouting "Katon! something something no jutsu!" in a macro. xDDD
Still though this will be cool to try out.

It looked complicated, but the way you've broken it down actually makes it seem pretty simple. I hadn't noticed that only the number of signs and the final sign matter (with no duplicates). I imagine it will be easy to remember as long as you actually use them while leveling (ie. start with access only to Fuma Shuriken, followed by the 3 2 parts, then finally the 3 3 parts). Initially when they were talking about this system I thought there'd be far too many combinations to remember, since with only 3 signs if you could repeat there'd be 39 combinations already.

You can pretty much guarantee some will be preferable to others. Raiton, Suiton, and Huton are the most valuable looking. The rest are situational.
