    Magic Scrolls

Isn't it better do buy Magic scrolls like ffxi? so the spell are separated like one target or ga Spells.. it make to playe with Magic jobs more interesting and on more interesting thing is you have look how you have to get the spells scrolls. its kinda annoying if u will get all the spells automatic, and u can set all magic spells ga or solo.... "AOE off" a little bit difficulty sould be there. sry for my bad English

    Agreed!
Would definitely make it much more interesting imo too. Too dull now.

In XIV i'd never buy magic spells, I just thought the action cost system is counter intuitive to the spell buying process. Its like buy all your spells which makes your class harder and more expensive, and then guess what you don't even get to use all of them, because of our AP system. -.-

Heya Zavier, I see your point with the AP system, i suppose they don't all have to be purchased. Could be quested or farmed. Some adventure factor, y'know? Just to make it more engaging and rewarding.

Perhaps a middle solution as pointed previously is to have basic spells auto learnt, but some of the more advanced/important spells acquired through different means.
It's just the idea of implementing milestones for the class, you've gone through a quest for a cool spell you really wanted, or hunted down a mob or NM for another and perhaps guild marks for some others. Lots of ideas to go around, just as long as it's not all spoon fed to your list. Game should be more engaging than this.
