    A PS4 is basically a PC. They have the extra layer of Playstation Network to get through but that hasn't exactly been a bastion of security in the past.

    Why not have a similar log in system like this?
    This sorta defeats the purpose of 2 step authentication. Someone just needs your password and your ip address and they can spoof their way into your account.
