The only way I could see an express-login feature being implemented is via fingerprint authentication using a USB device or another unique characteristic. :P

I say why not?
Before jumping all over me, why not look at another subscription mmo that has a token that allows this?
World of Warcraft has a token, and if you log on from the same location it may not ask you for your authenticator number. If you log on from a different location it does ask. If you are logging in from an internet cafe or a shared location that isn't on a personal computer it will always ask for your authenticator code.
Why not have a similar log in system like this?
Because people complain. They'd rather have people making a thread like this and keep things more relatively secure, than have to waste company time and resources because some dude's kid brother logged on and deleted all his coil gear.I say why not?

It also took that same game years to get that far. Expect it to take a bit of time.I say why not?

Let's not have WoW's security system...My account was hacked at least three times when I played it and I never shared my information. I heard of hacked accounts more commonly then I do on FF14 :/I say why not?

I'm just some guy...
Ok I think this thread needs to be locked lol, fact is it takes less than 10 seconds to login using your Token and also the comfort of knowing your account is secure in doing so :P
I can log in to my bank account in less time than it takes to log in to my FFXIV character.
MMO gamers being lazy, it's the future!™
