Hi everyone!
I got a question for the tanking community as a whole: as a main-spec Paladin should I also off-spec Warrior as well?
Hi everyone!

Literally all it requires you to do (at the i100+ level) is get another weapon, so there's no reason not to.
XI: Zeroblade, Titan Server
Yes. WAR is very fun to play as well.
WAR + PLD is better than 2 PLD or 2 WAR for pretty much all content.
(Except maybe Ramuh EX. Warrior is clearly the best choice by far, even more so if single tank.
Rage of Halone -10% STR debuff does nothing here since it's all magic attacks, and also Parry or Block is completely irrelevant for Ramuh since you will never parry or block ramuh's magic attacks.
Storm's Path from Warrior however will lower all damage caused by Ramuh to not only the tank but also the party by 10%.
PLD is better for Leviathan EX as OT by far, specially if the DPS sucks and cant kill caster add in less than 10 seconds and must rely on stunlocks that only PLD can do... Warriors can stun once and Holmgang once to interrupt the casts, but if DPS really sucks that's not enough.
Also for those bubbles that explode, that pretty much requires Hollowed Ground; Holmgang can make you still be alive but very weak and healers will get many stacks of debuff burst healing a Warrior OT on Leviathan.)
If you are in a group where the other tank can only be a PLD or can only be a WAR, it's a good idea to switch.
Also they share all gear except weapons, so yeah.
It's not necessary, but since they share gear there's really no reason not to. Just get a decent weapon and bam.
I'm still a level 27 MRD though (it will be my final class to hit 50 aside from Ninja).
