It's fun seeing people here talking about player skill when this game requires more timing than skill, timing to be one of the firsts players trying out the new content before a youtube guide pops and everything turns into learning a pattern and dealing with others.

Take this as constructive feedback, they only have to rethink the battle design, more reactive AI, a bit of controlled randomness, and less predictable scripts.

Having a good reaction speed IS a skill. This is what it means to be skilled. That you're able to react to the things that happen in a fight. Being able to react to random elements is a different skill. Neither of these skills is superior to the other. You might be brilliant at dodging random mechanics, but you might be crap at dealing with a scripted fight. Don't get on a high horse just because you're one of the rare people who is only challenged by a mix of both.
