I'm curious as to the limitations of it. Like if it works similar to Treasure Hunter in FFXI in allowing for an additional roll of RNG for mob drops. Not to mention if it's applicable to equipment and misc items from dungeon/raid drops. This including if it would increase the likelihood of rare bonus chests, like from ST. I'm willing to bet that it is heavily restricted as to when and where it can actually be applied, but I guess a little clarity on the matter would be nice.

I'd prefer if it was a short duration debuff, that if target died while debuff was up, it would have a greater chance to drop items. Can probably count on both my hands the times I've had the killing blow with mercy stroke while in a party.

it's probably just going to work for trash mobs, that actually drop something. I'd use it for rare drops, like night milk, apkallu eggs, etc.

I prefer to use my retainer for those mats, 10 guaranteed every 40 min for 1 venture token.

Decent odds of getting 10 HQ in one batch too. Night milk is a bit of a waste to use ventures on unless you really need the HQ though. Been able to buy it from npcs for awhile now

I assume it only works on items that actually drop from monsters. A treasure chest doesn't "drop" from a monster. It's a reward for defeating something or already placed , it has absolutely nothing to do with the monster itself.

Mug will probably work for, Furnishing mats, normal items such as snurble tufts , anything a monster can actually "drop".
