i understand that you wanna patch it so you can play as early as you can but use this to feel what it is going to be like for PS4 and PS3 players who will get a small PSN maintenance tomorrow FOLLOWED by a major patch to there systems, before they can play there games :P

also it will be done in roughly 13 hours if you can from work set up a remote connection to your computer from work and start it up there :3 theres a few applications that do that

There is no PSN maintenance tomorrow. It's a firmware update download, thats all.

lol I hear ya - I would love the download before heading to bed later on tonight... so I am not downloading the patch right into the time it is to go to work where I run the high risk of not being able to purchase my plot.. Once I go to work, that is it for 8 hours.. 8 hours of missed opportunities to buy my land.

Umm... All we receive is a firmware update tomorrow for 2.0...and that won't hit until like 9am pst... It'll take like 5 minutes to install, and FFXIV will have been patched for at least 5 hours.

ehh sometimes the store updates at midnight gmt±0 and other times it updates at 8pm, it depends on when it is released so far it has to be released at 8am GMT±0 to co inside with the patch,
