The maintenance isn't for new content... It's to prepare for it. This is just a random FFXIV-less day that got longer the day before it commenced. D;

heh? There's lots of new content. New job class, new gear, expanded housing, etc etc. Or am I not understanding what you mean?

Also they announced the time expansion a couple days ago at least, iirc.

Really? SE's description of today's maint made it seem like a preparation for 2.4 rather than 2.4 itself. At least something is actually happening.

the maintenance is for 2.4 among other stuff which is why it so long.

SE has something against people born in late October. A broken promise is worse than no promise. T.T lol
