    Paladins healing ability needs a tweak

    In the video above I have footage of myself personally showing the healing potency of a paladin versus a summoner with lower healing potency. The point of this is that, for at least PVE Paladins should be able to keep themselves up a little bit longer simply by being able to competently heal themselves. It does not really make very much sense to allow a DPS to be able to heal better than a paladin when the paladin has a higher healing potency. Paladins are supposed to be a hybrid class. In order to achieve a hybrid class status Paladins need to be able to get themselves out of danger or lend a hand in another way, for example, by being able to heal competently. I have personally gone down many a time when the healer slipped up and went down themselves and I followed very closely after due to the sheer amount of damage that tanks take and the lack of ability to keep myself up.

    The best way to alter this and fix it is simply to allow Paladins to heal for the amount that they should be getting, yet aren't due to a restrictions on that ability. THe only reason I can see as to why it was limited to begin with was in preparation for PVP, although I don't believe it's necessary anymore and as such should be lifted from PVE.

    Yeah I mean the WAR are more the DPS type Tank so it be nice if the PLD has a more Heal* to it.

    It is pretty cheesy. Even with convalescence its not the greatest. I've used it during fates or soloing a B hunt mark, but dungeons its useless.

    Doesn't SMN have access to an arcanist trait that increases their healing? This would be I guess why there is this difference.

    This, plus the Arcanist weapons have a higher Magical damage stat, which also translates into increase heal potency. That's why their heal is nearly 100% more effective than the PAL rather than just the 30% given by Maim and Mend 2.

    I agree Paladin should get better self heals cure 1 is not enough and we are unlikely to see cure 2 because its a quest ability so in my opinion the best solution would be to add new unique cures to the job like "Physick" here is an example.

    1.) Radiance
    -Recovers the target health. Healing Potency: 200 Addition Effect: Increased Enmity + Regen (Potency: 25)
    -High MP Cost

    2.) Radiance II
    -Recovers the target health. Healing Potency: 400 Addition Effect: Increased Enmity + Regen (Potency: 50)
    -High MP Cost

    Now you could use it on different people but since it would have a high MP cost like adlo and paladin have limited MP they wouldn't be great main healers even if they sacrifice their tanking because the regen potency and healing potency aren't so great its just to help your healer as a backup and for solo. And there is also increased enmity so its deadly to have them replace a healer.
