They do generally post up advisories and send out emails when they upgrade their services, and require new hardware as a result.
mayhaps you binned it, believing it to be typical isp jargon?
Interesting, I'll bite.
Using my connection from Denmark, speedtest says the following, connecting to Seattle:
http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3864457485
My connection in general, in Europe: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3864429235
N. American Datacenter:
Ping statistics for 184.107.107.176:
Minimum = 104ms, Maximum = 109ms, Average = 105ms
European Datacenter:
Ping statistics for 209.130.141.243:
Minimum = 37ms, Maximum = 38ms, Average = 37ms
Japanese Datacenter:
Ping statistics for 202.67.53.202:
Minimum = 285ms, Maximum = 287ms, Average = 286ms
Did they move the European Datacenter already? Usually I get latency in the 120's..
EDIT: Nevermind, don't know what I'm pinging but it's not the game lobbies..

;(

Here's Mines :3 I'm ready... now only if my router didn't crash if it dl at 2.0MB+ for extended periods of time :/
