List of Suggestions to improve the game. Triple triad or Tetra Master Do you like it?

Compass direction for Harvesting Locations on the mini map when using Havresting Abilitys.

Its easyer and faster then reading yams & directions.

Did anyone play the collectable card game in the first Xenosaga? I think I spent more hours on that than I did actually playing through the story. (I would have bought real cards for that game if they were available and I had someone to play with) Sometimes the mini games turn out to be more fun than the game that hosts them. I'd love to see something like triple triad in FFXIV. The possibilities for integration are nearly endless and people love to collect things. This is even better than some of the fluff other MMOs have to collect, because you can use the cards to compete directly with NPCs or other players.

We just need any type of mini-game in FFXIV.

Although of course a certain card game that may involve Triple Triading would probably be a fine choice.

True any good mini-game would do it but I feel card games especially have an unparalleled amount of gameplay value to them. What with the collection of cards, building of decks and of course playing with others there's an untold number of hours of gameplay there depending on how deep it is. I mean hell look at Magic the Gathering, that's still going quite strong these days.

Well, to be fair the first post isn't exactly about just a card game. It's about a variety of "suggestions to improve the game".

Yes but it does have them bolded plus I figure if the initial post gets sufficient attention then they're more likely to look at the whole thing. I mean we already know we'll be able to ride on things other than chocobos which is mentioned in the first post. Also 100+ likes is hard to ignore on any post and this one pretty much turned into the unofficial "we want a card game" thread.

If I can find enough information maybe I'll make a "Ultimate Tripple Triad" thread so we can focus on that idea solely in the post.

I'm pretty sure they are aware. There was a post on a JPN side a while back about how they want to hear more mini-game-related suggestions, but that they won't realistically be able to start development on them until the main game overhauls are complete.

Considering the lack of focus of first post, and the fact that the OP is MIA from the forums, and that the third most (my post) was the first serious outline of actual implementation of Triple Triad itself, I had considered just making a "triple triad only" thread, like the one I had made on the Japanese side, but was worried that it might be kinda redundant.

Meh, that's why I didn't make one myself. This thread has pretty much become the triple triad thread anyways.
