Fan Fest was great, one small issue caused a lot of people pain though... thousands of people trying to purchase items with only one cash register. Me and a friend only went to the Market Wards 10 minutes after the opening event finished and got into a line which stretched through the entire building. Where we queued, and mainly stood for four hours before we got in.
To make matters worse, those which got there later than us had times up to six hours, as you can guess. This meant we missed out on a good amount of content available at the fan fest and had to rush around in order to even see every activity available.
The biggest slap in the face however was the lack of communication from the staff members, nobody in the queue had any idea what was going on and most people were queueing for the Delivery Moogle which was thought to be an item only obtainable from the Fan Fest, no staff members came up to us and informed us that the Square Enix store was updated with the items at the event, else most of us would not have had to suffer for prolonged periods of time.
Yoshi walked down the queue and apologised to everyone a few hours in but that was the only compensation we had for this lack of foresight and bad management. I suggest we get some Market Wards queue survivor T-shirts!
Apart from that.. the Fan Fest was good and I enjoyed it after the queue of doom was over.
