My Fisher in opposite can no longer do the highest venture although he has all the AF in HQ (even overmelded) and at least the ilevel 55 accesoires in HQ and also overmelded. But I would have to give him the Level 70 Fisher tool and probably upgrade at least a part of the accesoires and meld them to gain access to the highest Venture again. And I am surely not again fishing Sovereigns for the Level 70 tool or craft for a week to get 10 FC3's and a Master Demimateria for the 75 tool.

The ilevel 70 weapon makes all the difference. I gave my Fisher the level 70 rod, the ilevel 55 HQ AF gear and HQ accessories (the old stuff not the ilevel 55 1 star ones) with only 1 or 2 melds using grade 1 / 2 materia and i was able to send them to do the XV explorations. The fishing rod is a pain to get, but the second one is ALOT easier to get since you have the upgraded rod. Took me like 30 hours to get the first Rod, (spent a weekend or two getting it) and it only took about 10 hours to get the second one. Just get a controller with vibrate and watch netflix.

Actually no, the minions can be acquired from Exploration XIV, so only 383 gathering is still required, so far there's no evidence that Exploration XV gives a higher chance to get the minions.

Anyone could confirm this? Maybe I shouldn't waste doing highest tier yet... :?

Ok, nevermind. I just got my tiny tapir from rank XV venture. Looks like it does works. Just need to wait for my miner ones.

But I saw pictures that confirmed Fat Cat comes from XV ventures and there were some people confirming that they also got him in the XIV ventures.

And for the mini mine cart, I can confirm that you can also get it from XV ventures since that was how i got mine.
So i'm Assuming that all of the rarer minions are from both XIV and XV ventures.

Yeah XV was what I meant but didn't type lol. True about the miner cart, got it from both expeditions so I guess I just send them all on XV ventures from now on.
