anyone know any good tutorial on how to draw like FFxiv style? i find the lines so simple yet the shadow technique and color palette are interesting. anyone know?

i like the grand company painting with all the chocobos and the new Summer event banner is also nice.

Tutorial? No, but I'd suggest a Google-spree for anything by Akihiko Yoshida, who's the artist you're referring to. (A personal favorite of mine)

@ Vergil Renata: I love your usage of colour in your drawing! And the pose and expression matches well with the clothes and character.

@Evil-Siren: Wow...just wow. I'm speechless at these wonderful pieces you created. Lightning, colors, dynamic, lovely scenery. I can only say that I'm hoping to see a lot more from you! Now draw a female elezen and you'll make my day lol.

@Qeius: Your pieces have a lovely vibrant and lively feel to it. They feel alive not to mention CUTE. Just look at that miqo'te and aldgoat I just want to hug them! Ahem... Sorry...

@Obsy: Female Elezen! *jumps of joy*. Lovely piece, nice poses, good anatomy and lovely expressions! Not to mention they look very sexy (especially the female elezen. That's a personal thing btw )

Vydos, you might consider linking to everyone's submissions in your initial post. To allow people coming to the thread for the first time easier access to each submission.

Very tempting idea. But if this continues it will become a real hard time to keep track of everything. I will do it for now but I had another suggestion.

How about everyone uploading their drawings to some site. Like most of us are already doing but preferably a site where I can simply post a link to the entire gallery of the user. And I'll just add update dates behind the gallery every time. Makes it nice and compact and that way I avoid reaching a possible post limit. (At least any time soon)

But in the mean time I'll add the pictures to the main post.

Oh no nothing like a group thing. Just that every user has it's own gallery. So that I can go.

User1 : [Gallery link] (updated 08/08/11)
User2 : [Gallery link] (updated 01/08/11)
User3 : [Gallery link]
....
And so on. So each person makes his individual gallery. And every time he or she post something new around here. I can just add an update tag at the first post.

I don't mind adding single links for those that only draw a FF piece very occasionally.
