It seems like my gear is wearing out too fast! It's too the point where I have to have 3 sets of gear for the few classes I'm going to use that day, and that eats up a lot of my inventory space.

Stop getting your butt kicked. It's because you return after you die. It was in the patch notes.
Are you dying a lot? You take a greater durability hit now when you die and return without being raised.

No, I very rarely die. At max, I fight mobs 12-13 levels above me.

How many hours a day are you playing?
Is there a difference in levels for the gear you are using?
ive noticed that too. however ive noticed it more on gear that is to high for my rank.
I dont have this problem on gear for my level and if i do i just repair it.
Haven't noticed high durability rate on gear, but I'm noticing it worse on weapons.

I have noticed if you are using something with optimal rank above your actual rank and/or wrong class.. you can lose up to 1% durability per mob you fight. That adds up quickly. Make sure you are using optimal equipment that suits your class.
They made this so much more important now. If you are of optimal rank, I find things actually wear down pretty fairly, 4-5 hours of grinding constantly without need of repairs.
