Nexus Relic Please

My only gripe with the Nexus quest is not knowing exactly how much progress you've made. I finally got mine tonight, but it was incredibly frustrating in the last stage when I was getting close. PC players have an app that tracks it for them, because of this they really should put the light number in game so that PS4 players can see it too.

Other than that, I loved the quest. I did it in about five weeks, with just some mild grinding here and there. I think the longest I ever farmed a bonus window was one hour. The rest just came from the things I was already doing anyways.

I've also seen people being a lot more helpful to others, since pretty much anything someone would ask for help with gives light.

I'm sure one day they'll lower the amount of light you needs, or increase the amount you get. Just like they're doing now with Atma and Animus. But that time is at least six months from now.

Come Tuesday, Snowcloak, Satasha HM and Sunken Temple HM should be giving blinding base. Along with getting blinding from T6-T8 it should only take 125 to 166 runs to get all 2000 light for a Nexus in comparison to the 500 to 2000 trails people were previously doing.

I'm around 800-900 light and all I've done is a few Syrcus Tower a week, the occasional expert roulette, and Frontline. I don't feel like I'm grinding Nexus; I'm just doing my normal thing with my Novus equipped knowing I'll get a Nexus eventually. I may push things if the next upgrade stage is close so I can start it right away but an i110 weapon is fine for me right now.

The description gives you the general idea of how many points you have in increments of 200 points. It's not like the game is leaving you completely in the dark.

Meh, only thing (which is rather large) I don't care for about Nexus is how I'm pigeonholed into staying that job while farming lights. Atma you can farm on any job with zenith. Animus you can gather the currency for the books as any job. Novus you can gather the alexandrite as any job. Nexus... you're stuck.

I have a PLD Novus I'm gathering lights for, and frankly it sucks that I feel obliged to do everything on PLD. It feels wasteful if I'm needed to go on another job. Kinda wish that we could get a lesser amount of light on eligible encounters for all soulglazed relics in inventory as well as full/bonus light for the one equipped.

I've definitely noticed the pigeon-holed thing and it's had a big impact on Frontlines; people won't change to a needed job because they want lights. I've had full alliances with 1-3 healers.

I agree. :c My Scholar is feeling very neglected. I don't heal anything anymore because I'd be missing out on light for my BLM Novus (and I already have my DRG Nexus, the grind is real x_x).

That's my only issue as well, I have all classes capped and I can't do anything on them without it feeling like a waste.
