Garlond Goggles

Hi everybody,
Today is my birthday and I have buy this game. I have two questions:
1.- How can I get the galond goggles? The eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/ingameitem/ don't work
2.- Are the servers working or they are down cause the earthquake, I can't check version and enter to the game.

Hi Darkerk, I've also bought this game recently.

Currently due to the earthquake in Japan, where the servers are located, the servers have been shutdown to help with the power shortage.

However, The servers are scheduled to come back up tomorrow, 25.03.

About the items, i am not sure, but ir econ someone else will be able to help you with that. The service may very well be down aswell.

When the servers go back on... make sure to follow the directions perfectly BEFORE making your character. I had a few friends that thought they could make their character first then do the registration for the in game item.. only to find that they cant get it.. You can only receive the in game bonus item after registering the Item code correctly and before making your character... once the code is registered.. make your character and it should spawn in your inventory.. Good luck

you get it at the collectors edition i have the onion helm cant use it tho cause me char is created already and i can only make 1 char

Just make a new char. Open new slots through the account management page. And you should get it. Dont forget to delete the old one.

Just want to make sure To get the goggles I will need to make a new character? If this is the case its not a problem as I haven't got very far into the game yet. Could see it to be annoying if some one had been playing for a while though.

Holy necro batman, and yes, you need to enter the code in account management AND THEN create your toon.
