Crops died, never looked sick

Anyone else noticing plants aren't looking sick when they are sick? I just lost some apricots at my personal house, less than an hour after fertilizing them. The honey lemons by them were sick, but not showing the purple glow.

Is this a new bug? Only with personal house plots? Only with fruit seeds?

Tending them is more important than fertilizing, as far as their health goes.

I've not had any problems, myself.

Yeah, but they have always gone purple sickly glow when they were unhealthy. They did not.

Plants can be "has seen better days" without the pink glow. It's odd that it would skip right to dead without you noticing but I suppose it can happen.

I'd the same happen, also with apricot kernels...

they became sick without the purple glow and died in the end

I have a feeling it might be a bug related to fruit plants only. I have had the same issue before but only with glazenuts and apricots.

I tend 12 plots daily, never had this occur.
There's a 15-16ish hour window for some plants, 24h for others.
It's a hassle to keep track of so I just tend them every 12h: once when I wake up and once in the evening/before bed.
On the days I accidentally miss plants, or don't get to it within the window, they've always turned purple.
Depending on visual cues alone seems unnecessarily risky.

and we are talking about plants, which just dont have the purple animation (bug?) and die before they turn purple even once
