When? Where? How much? I must plan for these things!
If you must plan for it, assume something outrageously high like $100 and early like March 2015.
expect more like late May to mid-June.
Well considering I personally got screwed over when I preordered the psychical ps3 collectors edition this isn't a crazy thing to be asking.
But your condescension as always is much appreciated.
I'm expecting up to $120, I just need to know when it starts so I can put down the reserve at my local Gamestop. The earlier the better.
If they're still planning on keeping this in line with their three month between major content patch goal, expect this to be around the beginning of May. Three months from 2.4 would place 2.5 around end of January.
Still not JUNE though, lol. And given their habitual development cycle and the need to generate revenue, March is the most likely since it's a time that Japanese college and high school students (a huge demographic for games) will have the free time to purchase and play games.
Therefore, all things being equal unless something big comes down the pipe (like another high profile release SE doesn't want to compete with) some time in March is the most likely month for the expansion's release.
I hope there's a physical disk for it. I can not tell you how much I hated how Adoulin was released outside of Japan in XI... no single disk, either the new-new-new-new collected edition for PC or 360 or PC digital download. I didn't play on the PC nor 360...
