Measuring my DPS on Ps4

Hi I know this is a touchy subject but I have been playing this game for a while now and my main jobs are healing and tanking but I would like to try out a DPS class for end game content but I always feel like I am hold the group back I would like some kind of tool that I could measure my out put on the PS4 as I don't want to be holding a group back with poor performance.

I can tell easily as a healer and tank if I am doing a good enough job its just very hard as DPS.

Anyone else feel the same

Yeah that's what I thought its just a pain at times especially when pugging and I hate holding groups back if I am that is

As a SMN it is already hard to measure your actual dps due to pet and the DMG increase and reduction you provide via utility, but key things to remember
-apply make sure DOTs are always up for the 3 second tick
-use contagion with RS, INT pot and PPP when possible
-limit use of energy drain, you want to fester as much as possible
-if multi strong targets (correct me if wrong) DOTS+contagion then bane
-keep up the ruin spam, while using pet buff- also there is a glitch where if you use enkindle then move pet before they cast it, it wont go off.
