Retainers can only do DoW/DoM/DoL, can't do DoH, unless you just literally means having them store the gears for you. lol

but there's chance they bring you the new UNMELD option, then life is made LoL

You can already remove melds on those goblin NPC at Central Thanalan, though you will lose the materia.

Now I have even more interesting question for you

Will the patch change melding caps for gear ? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Let's just cross our finger. Those militia wrist gear for DoH & DoL did get a raised melding cap in 2.3.

The full patch notes just recently published, and there's still no Artisan body counterpart, or at least none that I can found. At least DoH bodies still save for now.

DoL on the other hand, confirmed has the body version. Well... at least I would've glamour my miner body over it. ^^;

I really hope they missed it in patch notes cause if not the armor will be so ugly mix and match ; ;
