Mistwalker is a reference to Hironobu Sakaguchi's (creator of Final Fantasy) new company, Mistwalker, which has made stuff like Blue Dragon and The Last Story.

I agree. There has been alot of playing around with the idea of viangaa but they could be serious.

Mistwalker is her name and if i remember correctly, viera are affected by mist in ivalice. Her tail and ear placement suggest bangaa.

If she turns out to be viangaa im pretty sure the design of he race will still be sleek and easy on the eyes just like the existing 5 races. The design will make sense, they could even create a whole new name for the viangaa race
