    Tradecraft Leves

    I was wondering why the crafting skills for tradecraft leves are only limited to the city state they're based in (WVR skill in Ul'dah and LTW skill in Gridania).
    As for the battlecraft leves (DoW/M classes), they can be done anywhere.

    they're only limited in that way for the ones that originate in the city state, because that's where the guilds are that the leve people make requests to.
    There are ones out in the field such as coerthas and mor dhona that have no such restrictions.
