Will Calamity Salvager items remain forever obtainable?

I have inventory issues, and I love collecting stuff.

Thing is, there are some stuff that I would like to throw away, but I'm afraid they would at some point discontinue its existence. Unnecessary stuff for most like the Dawn Wristguards, Dress Shoes..

Anyone knows if they ever mention anything about the Calamity Salvager and availability?

Being serious, I feel they'll retire to the Cash Shop in waves being slowly unobtainable in-game sadly.

Hopefully with prior announcements unlike last year's Hallowed Items which was extremely uncool.

If this is the case, then it's truly sad, I've just noticed that my ghost costume from last year's halloween isn't in the salvager, neither are the custom made cuirass and stuff from level 5 class quest. I guess at least I can feel the "forever obtainable" vibe of it if I ever decide to throw it away, but I hope it's not the case.

Also, are achievements a one time only as well? I noticed I did not have last year's achievement, although I've completed the quest, perhaps I've missed the final part. At least this one I'm sure they won't be selling in the shops >_>

If they start selling achievements in the cash shops, that would be pretty pathetic.

I do hope they keep adding some vintage items to the calamity salvager instead of putting everything in the cash shop. We should be able to get items if we've actually done the event on our character in the past, not have to buy it just because we lacked the space to store it or what have you.

If anything, i can really agree about having extra retainers. I would probably happily pay for 10 retainers, as it is understandable that they have to buy more storage space. Although it would be more ideal if glamours aren't as inventory intensive as it is now..

If calamity salvager items are eternally obtainable, it would be amazing and I'll toss away everything I can buy there. Could we get a rep word on this?

Just so you double check, because when you said that I was about to freak out because I couldn't find my last year Saints' Wake outfits (I have them in my retainers, but you never know.) at the Calamity Salvager NPC, and I found them under "Purchase Seasonal Event Rewards (Gear) I". There are a few options marked with "seasonal event". So just make sure you checked the correct choice.

And as far as I can tell yes achievements are a one time deal when it comes to seasonal ones it seems.

Hopefully the funds from the cash shop will be used to accommodate 3 retainers as default in-game. Maybe 4? One can hope.

Yoshida has already stated the CS is permanent which is why they updated them to offer new items incase you tossed them. ORIGINALLY it was only there to give 1.0 players the ability to regain items due to the cut inventory space, then they made it a permanent addition to the game.

Quest items aren't in there unless it was a universal quest, e.g Sylvan silk sash or whatever it's called. Also you need the achievement to regain event items, they're adding the rest in 2.4.
