Well if they're tradeable, it might be worthwhile to level up an alt (if you haven't already) so you can increase how many oaknots you can acquire each day.

Considering they seem to exist in sets of 3, you probably get three per 8 oaknots.
I feel like it's kind of silly to gate crafting recipe materials to a beast tribe of all things, especially for those people that are still capping the other tribes (me...).
It feels kind of ridiculous with how much materials they require opposed to how much can be acquired/day per day; made even worse if it turns out the sealants are not tradable.
Where do you see this? Or are you just going by the material costs for the craft? I mean it's not out of the question considering that they trade you 1:2 for GC materials...but they also only do 7:1 trades for the myth materials, which also seems rediculous considering that they'd cost 500 myths versus 2 days of dailies at rank 6.

The thing is they are buyable meaning not everyone will want to make these secondary tools and you can buy it from them.
WOOW, 108 days is way too much. I loathe such time restricted crap.

Thing is, before you finish all the gears, there's a new one coming up. It's like how the DoW/M are right now, it's impossible to gear everything with soldiery tome restrictions before patch comes, and probably will be eased up a bit once patch comes. This was the last thing good about crafters that they're not restricted by days, but I worry if this is the case.

If you feel like well there is not much left I want to craft in 2.X you can just skip making new crafting gear and wait for the expansion when the level 60 cap is out because then you would have to make level 60 gear for your crafts.

I always treat crafting as it's own endgame, basically I'm only done when I have BiS and can craft the hardest item HQ at least once. Then wait for new patch, repeat..

The more I think about it, the more I really don't want to play. I spent the few weeks enduring the beast tribe quests, because they were took 20 or so minutes a day and I would just have to do them for a few weeks and then they were done. I didn't enjoy them, the tediousness was the price I was willing to suffer to not be slaved to the market when I was in a rush to acquire huntable items. Now if I want to get out from under the materia market I must languish doing Ixal quest for a third of the year...at what point can I just enjoy the game?
