the benefit of have assassinate on every attack so it fires off as soon as it can

macro'd GC skills have a natural delay built into them. there is something called skill queing. about half a second or so before you "should" be able to use another skill, you can, for lack of a better word, preload another skill. macros prevent that. meaning they are slower.
