PS3 limitations.
You're entitled to play the way you want to play, but the way you want to play is very sub-optimal for virtually no reason.
If you absolutely must make a convenience button, only put it on one button. Not all of them.
you have to macro Miserys End and Mercy stroke and Assassinate to ALL of your attacks or youre not gonna be using them properly
Or you put it on one button, mash that one button between GCDs, and not waste 20x the macro space. Especially for something that is doing nothing for you for everything over 21%.
XI: Zeroblade, Titan Server
theres no time to think about spamming which button if its on all the buttons
What's there to think about? It's one button.
Basically, you're incredibly lazy and you willingly make your gameplay suffer just to cope with your laziness. It has nothing to do with the amount of macro space.

its not one button if youre working on a rotation. besides that you wouldn't have to eyeball the targets hp for the execute range
I will just try to memorise all the combos and input them manually every time. I come from fighting games where you have loads of combo moves and pressing buttons in the order 1-1-2 does something different than 1-2-1. If I understand correctly, that's pretty much how ninja magic works here.
