Well I suppose that's one way to play. Personally I have like 3 macros and I don't use them -- they were for low and mid level crafting. You'll probably have to start deciding what actually needs to be macro'd and what doesn't, or get more creative about it. This is certainly the first time I'm hearing about someone having a macro space problem so I'm not sure how in tune SE might be to this 'issue'. I suppose they know now.

You can just WATCH the macro'd version falling behind. Nevermind their silly third party junk.

Also if the mudras Jin, Chi, and Ten have a cooldown time of (let's say) 1.1-1.5 seconds you won't be able to trigger a ninjutsu via macro which only allows wait times in full integers. Ninjutsu in the prelim patch notes is worded in such a way that your mudra combo will fail if you don't trigger within 5 seconds of your first mudra. The notes also say all three mudra share a recast timer.

This. The only GCD macros are mouseovers are made for fun/pratice. And outside of the WHM macros don't even have that much GCD macros.

You should not do this. Just place mercy stroke on its own when it lights up you hit it. Macroing all those abilities is a bad idea.

There's your problem. 12 buttons isn't nearly enough for an MMO. If you stop putting bizarre, impractical limitations on yourself you'll be fine.
