New player returning here, couple questions about classes.

I left about a year ago, leveled DRG up to 50, had a good times at end game, but ended up unsubbing because personal life got busy..

Ive heard a lot of good things and it seems that ffxiv has maintained a good player base and has been quite successful. It also seems like a lot has improved.

So I just resubbed and am currently downloading the game.

My question is, how is DRG doing in the PvE world. Are groups/raids/guilds desiring them for any type of role other than generic dmg dealer??

Also looking at creating a new char, was looking into Ninja but havent seen much information about the class. Has it been released yet? If so, what is the experience like. Was leaning either towards MNK or Ninja... Any advice?? Which dps job seems to be kicking ass on the dmg meters??

Err... their role IS generic damage dealer, same as the rest of the DPS. That all said, DRG can do some solid work, especially on single target, and are also useful for off-GCD stunning.

Play all the classes. Definitely the best choice.
