I found it really interested that of all of the James Bond movies, Yoshida decided to mention one title in particular "The Man With The Golden Gun". If we're to follow a rational pattern, the title means something very specific. The last movie reference was to three Batman movies, two of which being Dark Knight and Dark Knight rises. Everyone understood what this meant easily, but The Man With The Golden Gun has given many people different ideas.
Agent is a popular idea, and an obvious one. There haven't been a lot of agents in Final Fantasy but they have existed (e.g. the Turks of FF7). Chemist was an interesting idea to me, arguing that the "golden" gun refers to the idea that Alchemy and gold are heavily referenced together in media, the only problem being that we already have an Alchemist.
My idea, however, is completely different. While I won't say this is likely, I still think it's plausible and I'd love it if it were to come to be, and so I'll lead into this idea of mine.
There is already a man with a golden gun in the Final Fantasy Universe.

There's evidence both supporting and contradicting this idea.
+ It's a golden gun
+ It's similar to Vincent Valentine's gun, a popular character
+ It's something people aren't likely to think of
+ The concept of the gun uses three different bullet shells to unleash powerful attacks (summoned creatures), and this concept is already about to exist in the game (i.e. Ninja)
+ Main character has interesting glass and they've been trying to develop interesting eye-wear recipes for a while.
- It's kind of an over a decade year old obscure anime
- We already have a summoner class
- Yoshida made "Agent" like poses at the fan fest.
- It's hard to determine what the name of the job would be called other than "Summoner", however Evoker would be a likely name.
I don't claim it's the truth, but I can't help but think of the possibility, and I'd like to know everyone's thoughts on the idea.
My idea of a job based on this concept would be another summoner type Job. It might seem redundant but for a while people have been complaining about Summoner, and I think this would be a nice tie-in for a Job to use Summons as a huge blast type of attack like they were used in FF3 - FF9.
Overall I think people want Blue Mage and now maybe Agent. I think Corsair is unlikely, but a lot of people are hoping for that though. Personally though, I'm hoping for a Magun Evoker Job.
