Also no idea where you got he said he'd never change 1.0. He came into the game in December 2010 and after a year of attempting to salvage it, it was decided it redo the whole thing based on:

Or instead of passing info through twitch they can post an official announcement of everything they have going into the store at this point. It should be first and expansion new should be second. Next alot of people have lived through decade of misinfo from the company. Last time I checked Yoshi is an employ and not an owner. He doesn't get to decide when the servers get shut down.

Its a successful game, it didn't resort to Pay2Win whenever the monthly sub was removed during 1.0, and XI has gone how many years without going free to play or Pay2Win? Yoshi is basically top chain of command when it comes to ARR and well respected in the company, so if his game was doing badly, I could see the company forcing him, but that's not the case. These are the kind of facts I'm talking about.

....Nope, nothing spectacular. Oh boy, a level boost is the most OP thing there. You could have fun and level a job yourself or pay to have it done instantly for you. Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem with ffxiv doing that. Nothings worse than getting RL friends interested in playing the game only to be stuck running low level dungeons with them... I'd pay to boost them to 50!

OP gear? Nope. 98% vanity, 2% long been dying king of the mmorpg universe offering diehard fans instant max level satisfaction on whatever new server they want to play on. You mean players in Asia are allowed to play for more than 4 hours at a time now? If I was limited to short hours of play because of my country and/or hoards of low income gold sellers, I'd want the most of it too! But, they haven't done this, nor have the published anything stating that they will be doing this.

I'd rather go to the $8.99 place, and then if I REALLY wanted some high end sushi just for vanity sake... if they offered to sell me some for a little fee, I wouldn't be upset. I'd be happy. Cause I still get a huge selection for $8.99.

You mean that Experience Potion that was found in 2013 on the PTR, that was confirmed to be for the asian market only due to their rules on MMO. That same potion we haven't heard of in almost a year ?

One of the main attractions to joining this game was that it was one of the only p2p mmo that did not have a cash shop.

I oppose a cash shops in games that charge a sub fee, there for with the announcement that this game will add a cash shop while still charging us monthly i have decided to cancel my sub.

I am posting this as feedback to SE, should the cash shop be scraped or taken out in the future i will resub. But until then you have lost a customer.

I will not be posting in this thread, people are welcome to discuss whatever they want in it but i will not respond to anyone.

Not a huge fan of the cash shop myself but as they have said its cosmetic and therefore will not make the game unbalanced for those who choose not to or can't afford to buy things I will not unsub because of it. Now if they did add things like BiS gear then I would probably unsub at that point.
