Cash Shop minions not exclusive?

Hello,
I have read in one topic that cash shop minions wont be exclusive to cash shop. Can someone please confirm it? If yes, then I aplaud SE for handling the cash shop quite well.

You've misunderstood. The minions in the cash shop are exclusive to the cash shop. What they were saying is that minions in general won't be exclusive to the cash shop as a whole - they will continue to make minions that you can get by just playing the game, as shown by the fact that we're getting lots of new minions in 2.4.

YoshiP was trying to reiterate that the Cash Shop won't be P2W, and that it won't hinder the development of items in the game.

So then no you can't either buy them or find them in game. If what Wintersolstice is saying is how it is the some minions will be exclusive to the cash shop and some will be released to get in game but you don't have the option to buy or obtain in game the same minion.

Not sure how I feel about this... what makes the Baby Opo-Opo, Nutkin, Bluebird, Pillow, Broom, and Goblin really special is because they are hard to get.
If say all those are in the future available on the cash shop you might as well throw the rare drop down the tube.

Lots of people spent lots of gil, time, or mixture getting the rare minions/mounts. I hope the cash shop doesn't just make it a quick avenue to get same rare ones.

...as someone who was at the Vegas Fan Fest and watched the entirety of the EU Fan Fest. How in the world did people jump to that conclusion? Even through language barrier and a translator I didn't get that from Yoshi. There will be minions in the cash shop that are exclusive to it (just as there is now), and there will be many more minions added to the game directly and receivable via methods of various tasks, like it is now. What was said is that they aren't going to just put things in to the cash shop for the sake of it <paraphrased>.

Man, people get so riled up so easily. I'd love to meet some of you folks in real life, you'd be no end of entertainment for me.
