hes the james bond of final fantasy and a badass too
now i think they class.job might be skypirate do to heavensward being in the air and skyships are confirmed.
what make even more to point to this well... a faction that has pirates all rdy

hell even the Garlean soldiers have them

So far Gun-swords have only been in the hands of Garleans who rely heavily on technology due to their (Confirmed by Yoshi/Koji in Vegas!) genetic inability to use magic. I've never been a huge fan of gunblades, and FFVIII is one of my least favorite games. Though they make sense from the Garlean perspective.

All that out of the way, if the new class is Sky Pirate (As good a guess as Agent, really. Better, since it's been in more than one game!) they will likely just have Guns, not Gun Swords. Just glad you're not a Chemist groupie!

I still lean towards Agent though, due to the 007 hint. Also mentioned was the film "Man with the Golden Gun", though he's an assassin. With Ninja already going in, this leads me to think we're more likely to see a Sniper. BUT the chances of the Gun Job being a Healer are also high, which brings us back to Agent (It was a healer/support job).

TL;DR : Gun Swords are Garlean, won't be in player hands. Too much conflicting info to call the new Job.
