Yes and no. You may have more due to the pure sake of seeing them outfitted in two roles.

But people will stay play what they want most of all.

Besides if they implemented this for more other Jobs, it wouldn't be as visible of an issue.

Like BLU being DPS or Healer.

It's honestly almost the same as having SCH & SMN separated into two.

Remember something important: the more variety a class has, the harder they are to balance. The harder they are to balance, the more likely they are to be over or under powered, the more likely players are to complain. Well, they're complain anyway but still.
