Aether is my native Data Center and I don't have alts on other servers. I've never changed my Data Center except today after this issue started. I did all 3 JP and all 3 NA. I could only get to char select on the JP Data Centers. All the NAs gave me 2002. It's frustrating because the 2002 Error tosses you out of the game entirely and you have to relaunch so retrying until I somehow manage a connection is EXTREMELY tedious.
I hear you man, I'm having the same problem on my PS3.
