Will ninjas become a 'required' job to have like some consider bard to be?

Maybe I'm reading the ninja skills wrongly, but if Huton applies a 15% attack speed buff to the entire party for 70 seconds (which it is probably just to the ninja...not sure) and if Trick Attack's 'increases target damage taken by 10% for 10 seconds applies to bosses, will the ninja become a 'required' role to have in raids such as some people consider bard to be now [for mana song, dmg increase from requiem, etc.].

I know no job is "required", but some are definitely 'preferred' over others, so I'm wondering what people think the ninja status will be? Will it be 'just another melee dps' or a 'we need that ninja over [put any other dps melee class here]." Thanks!

Well, Huton is pretty certainly self-only, and Trick Attack is expected to have a 60-second CD, making it only hugely useful in burn phases.

They'll have some nice support, for sure, but I'm not expecting "required."

Warrior has a 10% damage reduction to bosses, but warriors aren't required at all. Both tanks can own it. Ninjas will probably be another melee dps one can choose from and even if the balance is a bit off, SE would re-balance it as they did with bards, warriors, black mages, any job.

you cant normally stealth during combat, so it's for starting combat.
but there's speculation that Suiton grants you the chance to stealth during combat. But there's CD involved, so you can't use the damage boost, very often, so it has a limited use; good for burst situations though.
i don't think it will be a requirement, but i'm sure that many will prefer it. DRG buffs BRD also, but MNK is better DPS than DRG, so it's meh.

I think they'll more likely be interchangeable with Bard, although the TP refresh is no where near as useful, they have silence and are more helpful in DPS check heavy fights, Bard will still hold more use in the longer don't stop hitting or healing fights like T8.
